Brian Johnson is getting another rehab start in the GCL. Guessing that Perez will piggyback him.

The GCL Sox playing a young OF today. All three 2013 draftees (Monge, Hudson, Austin) turned 18 this year, and all are having successful professional debuts. None got outrageous bonuses (boni?? jk), but have the tools to project some upside, even if they're longshots to reach a high ceiling.
You've got to get your Josh Reddicks and Ryan Kalishes from somewhere.

Dedgar Jimenez with another great outing for the DSL Sox. 6IP 3H 1ER 1BB 7K. The one run came on a HR in his sixth (final) inning of work. Dedgar is now sporting a 2.03 ERA, 30K/4BB, with a WHIP just under 1.00. Still fairly small sample size (31 innings pitched), but the results so far are encouraging.

Well, it'd have to be the pitching, because there aren't any hitters to write home about. The Basabe twins and Guerra were supposed to be the players to watch, but each around .200
Kukuk is pretty intriguing if he could ever harness his control.

Only 37 hits in 68 2/3 innings he's given up this year. Thru the 5th tonight. That's 4.85 hits per nine innings. Of course, the batters don't know what the heck to do because he's walked 58 to go with 72 k's. Not much contact in his games.

Sea Dogs get shoutout and manage only 4 hits. Derik Gibson, of all people, collects 3 of those hits (3-3). Vitek with the other one.

Lowell with another walk off win in the bottom of the 9th. Consecutive singles by King, Witte, and Allday load the bases, Asaujue with a Sac Fly and then an error allows the winning run to score.
Gunkel with a scoreless 9th gets the win
