Betts sounds more and more like the next Pedroia.

The Sea Dogs are also trying to go for a four game sweep. It would be their first at home since 2010.

Heiker has the only hit in the PawSox game. 1-0 PawSox middle of the third.
LOL and Supermookie led off with a walk.
EDit: Webster with control problems has given up 3 BBs, a single and a 3 run HR, down 3-1 now, after 3. 57 pitches, 33 strikes.

More walks than strikeouts for Webster today. Can he be a reliever yet?

Mookie's avg went down today, he went 1/3 with a double, a walk and a sb. Slacker.

Egads, Justin Henry with the save! Nothing to crow about with Webster, and Ranuado has been less than stellar. Takes time to develop pitchers. It is a shame they let them go when they have them ( Lester). Yup, he is gone.

Mookie's avg went down today, he went 1/3 with a double, a walk and a sb. Slacker. Would Kipnis be the obvious comp for Betts? I wish his arm was better bc I could see him in RF too since they value D out there more now.

Mookie's on base streak is now 39 games.
This year, through 35ABs:
.457/.512/.743/1.255
7 XBH 4 SB (1 CS 5 BB only 3K's.
He has more of everything than K's. SSS but like Speier said, you can't help but notice the train. LOL, Keith Law told Speier in tweet that he was surprised Speier didn't name his youngest Mookie.

It was nice to see Rijo hit a HR yesterday, anyone know if it was a blast or down the line in a small park? I'm also a little surprised he hasn't received that much attention. Everyone is all giddy (I'm no exception) about Manuel Margot and his hot start....Rijo is almost a whole year younger playing in Greenville and he's off to s nice start as well .321/.441/.500
It's nice to see some position players to follow this year in Greenville after a weak year last year (although Betts did start off there).
