Drew lives
Edit: 2 2-strike 2-out singles from Nap/Nava if I'm not mistaken got this started

Wow, I mean props to the hitters for getting on base, but this guy left everything up tonight. Good on the Sox for making him pay.

The AL East is as bad as it's ever been. One play: Pitcher leaves the ball up, right fielder bobbles the ball and throws to the wrong base. Ad in Xander not knowing how many outs there were and yikes that's bad baseball. At least the sox are winning.

Pumping 2-strike fastballs down the middle is not a recipe for success, even up 6-0

If [Ortiz's] luck changes and he gets it going, this offense can be one of the better ones in the league, especially if Xander starts producing like he should. This is a very talented offensive club; they just haven't shown it so far.

Ortiz just crushed the pitch, seemed to pull away as he swung, and hit it to dead center on a 430 foot line. Still a beautiful swing

Congrats to Papi Tying Yaz on the all time HR list 452. This is the 4th or 5th year now that I've seen people question his bat speed. One of these days they'll be right.

That was an Ortiz swing and slam. It was a cream puff of a pitch but still. Is Drew starting to hit like he has in the past. The guy is about a 270 career hitting with some pop. He missed sprig training and is trying to catch up in middle season. It is hard to believe the last month is indication of what he is now when there is another exploration. His fielding is also the same, which suggests he does not have declining skills yet.

The Sox are unleashing half a season's worth of pent-up offensive frustration on Hutchison and Mills tonight.

Oh my! If Youkilis was still in the lineup I would think he'd be hit on a night like this.
