Big Papi is in the line up. Love to see him take Price deep.

Gomes is lucky he didn't injure himself on that second play. One of the most graceless slides I've seen.

Victorino looks good. Man did we ever miss his bat earlier this season.

I know umpires hate it when a pitcher "shows them up" by question a call or staring i. after a bad pitch, but when a umpire makes strike three calls like that what's the difference? Just a jerk.

Nice at bat by Jackie, he looks like a completely different player offensively.

Bogaerts is proving more and more that he doesn't belong in the infield. There's young and then there's just stupid.

And right now he does not hit enough for first or left. Sad to say you are right about "there is young and then". He also needs some sessions with a boxing trainer and perhaps a dance instructor or gymnast.

I have a question, why does he take Lester out? His pitch count was high, but Farrell is in love with keeping peavy in their when you know the guy doesn't have it? Farrell has made that mistake one too many times this season and cost us a couple of games with his bonehead decisions in that regard.
