We have just been through the "silly season" of the draft and the trade deadline. As a group, the moderators of the site have been a bit more lenient on the ground rules and on posters than we ought to have been, given the volume of posts and the level of discourse. In recent days, we have been deleting posts, moving threads off the main board, combining/separating threads, locking threads and, on occasion, sending PMs to the appropriate posters about their behavior (and BTW more will go out this week). We believe that the SoxProspects.com forum contains one of the more intelligent discussions about baseball, the Red Sox, and Red Sox prospects on the internet, and we aim to keep it that way. Posting on the site is a privilege, not a right. As a reminder, the ground rules are linked below: forum.soxprospects.com/thread/3/forum-ground-rulesConsider this a broad shot across the bow for posters; we will be enforcing the rules more strictly and, where the staff feels posters are incapable of having a civil discourse (without, among other things, the need to attack the intelligence, credentials or other aspects of other posters, the staff, the Red Sox organization/ownership and others), we will remove such posters from our site.
