With Workman going down, will we see Ranaudo in the rotation shortly?

With Workman going down, will we see Ranaudo in the rotation shortly? ESPN Boston writes: I hope it's Wright instead of Ranaudo, but that's just me.

Ortiz out for tonight. Doesn't bode well for stopping the 8 game losing streak.

Except for Holt, all RH hitting lineup tonight. Napoli in for Papi at DH giving him a day off to heal his foot.

You know, if Mookie's defense at SS is just as inadequate as Brock Holt's ... then let's put Mookie at SS.

Mookie packs a punch for a little guy. Hit that a long way.

If Castillo is 60% as good as Mookie, we made a good signing!

Mookie has to keep getting significant playing time, there is no way i would trade Betts. He can play right field next year. He has great plate discipline for a 21 year old. Try Mookie at SS and RF.

On the technical side, the Toronto broadcast from CSN is way cool. They show the strike zone straight on, then they rotate it to give you the top or side view. Instant 3D analysis.

And the commentators believe wins are the best way to evaluate a starting pitcher. And yet they are less annoying than the Don and Jerry show.

Like I said the last time he pitched (and face-planted) - I still believe in Buchholz.

Having Middlebrooks continue to play is just indefensible.

Having Middlebrooks continue to play is just indefensible. You don't want to trade him when his value is at its lowest...

Buchholz looks great tonight, when his changeup is on, no team stands a chance.
