You don't want to trade him when his value is at its lowest... But if he isn't good his value won't get higher so it won't matter. Italics = sarcasm

Maybe I'm alone here, but I feel like WMB has looked a lot better lately.

I really don't understand how people can claim WMB isn't a good defender at 3B.
It's just too bad he can't hit.

@alexspeier Mookie Betts has reached base in all 8 games since he was called up to be Sox' everyday CF: .280/.438/.480 w/7 BBs, 4 Ks, 3 SBs. #feats

Kid is special. Unrelated note, in the Rusney thread I made a post about fans being unreasonably binary about his potential skillset (i.e. he's either Puig or bust). Well, I can understand being binary about Buchholz. I truly do not know what to expect each time he takes the mound. If he could just be a little more consistent so we could know what we have in him...

Bummer that Buch couldn't finish it. A couple of lucky grounders and a BB in which two of the pitches looked like strikes.

It'll be already 2 outs if Brock hasn't cross into Dustin's area. Let him make the play but it wasn't.

CSN commentator on Bautista slide: "Good clean baseball playing right there."
What a distorted world view. I think that kind of slide should be absolutely banned.

So much for finally getting a Red Sox game done in under 3 hours.

So, why didn't we trade a 40 year old closer for a decent prospect?

Clever blocked DP by Bautista that lead to tied game in next batter. Bad luck

Also, this isn't because of that particular play but it just happened to remind me of it: Cespedes's defense has really been less than I had hoped. I had it in my head that he was a solid defender who overcame the occasional mistake with athleticism and a rocket arm. Well, the mistakes don't look very occasional. He looks like he screws up pretty often actually.
I'm hoping it's just a string of bad luck rather than an indication of who he is.

I blame Farrell. No way do you bring in your closer who has been struggling with the bases loaded.

Wow. That was tough to watch. The slide (to a top 5 pick?) continues...
Maybe some Mookie or Brock Holt! majick will save us.

Not comfortable by watching Breslow pitch. He have hideous walk/K ratio.
