Looks like 5 people bothered to look up WAR and 16 people didn't. Lester's year may have been more valuable than Rizzo's ten years ago, and I think folks haven't quite tuned their brains to the new offensive reality. When you factor out Lester's framing support, the gap is even bigger (1 full 1.0 WAR).

Eric, just trying to help when I say this, but you realize that you sound like a condescending dick in like, 75% of your posts, right? It's not a small part of why it makes it so hard to take your posts seriously.
Just saying this because I have heard that you are not, in fact, a condescending dick in real life, and are a perfectly nice guy.

When you factor out Lester's framing support, the gap is even bigger (1 full 1.0 WAR). By fWAR, Lester leads 5.6 to 4.2. By rWAR, Rizzo leads 3.9 to 3.8. How is that a slam dunk either way?
