Hey All,
It’s time to cast your vote for the catcher in the Red Sox minor league system that you believe will have the best 2015 season. Keep in mind that you are voting with respect to who you predict will be perform the best on the field, not who you consider to be the best prospect. Per usual, each player is eligible for only one position and thus will not appear on multiple polls.
Note that this poll will close on April 1. We look forward to seeing your votes!
Best, Matt

The only question is whether it will be unanimous.

The only question is whether it will be unanimous. C'mon -- I don't think Weems will get ALL the votes!! But seriously, the problem with choosing a top prospect in AAA is that, what if Swihart gets off to a good start and then there's a major injury to Vazquez or Hanigan, Swihart is brought up, and handles himself well enough that he stays up the rest of the year? How much in the way of minor league performance is necessary to "qualify as an all-star?"

But seriously, he's got enough work to do, and the club will be comfortable with either Vazquez or Hanigan "starting" for any length of time, that I doubt they'll call him up before July. There's just no point. Last year, Vazquez came up because he was going to start. It's a different situation.
