Is that Stephen Drew in the lineup vs. a lefty? Love it.

Tried to merge the other thread into this one. Can't figure out how to do it without bumping down the "lead" post, but whatever.

Looks like Nava is our starting RF against RHP. Also with the smaller RF nice way to keep him involved. I thought Craig may start but I guess he's being saved for the late inning heroics.

“@ken_Rosenthal: Buchholz received letter from MLB informing him that he had stepped out of batter’s box. Joked he might only have two more ABs this season.”

“@ken_Rosenthal: David Ortiz was amused that Buchholz received a letter while he hasn’t. Ortiz in full compliance so far, per MLB.”

Panda is 8-11, with 1 Hr, 9 Rbis and 1.939 Ops against Eovaldi. Let's hope he continues that trend tonight.

Good call. Most teams won't so come July 31st, he's a rental deal. Sox would need to give the Reds more than the value of a draft pick and more than all the other trade partners would. Should be interesting.
