Who can strike out Manuel Margot? He looks to have such a great bat to ball skill as Pedey and Mookie.

Happy Steven Wright day! Mighta jinxed him, only SP that hasn't pitched well tonight. Diaz, Dahlstrand, and Beeks each with a solid line tonight.

Turned on the PawSox just in time to see Swihart blister a ball into the right field corner for a game-tying double. Looks like he's had himself a fun game at the plate.
Edit: and Brentz with the walk-off shot!

The numbers sure look good for Margot don't they and he doesn't seem to struggle going to new levels that much. He will probably still be 20 years old when he reaches AA. The Sox have so many great prospects that the system still looks loaded even after promoting two guys in a row who were top 10 in baseball in Betts and Bogaerts. The organization is managed exceptionally. Gotta say some of that is Cherington.

Scouts always love Margot. I can see lots of similarities between Mookie and Margot. He just needs to play games and refine his approach. No doubt about his talent.

Beeks, who was a very interesting pick (drafted 374 but ranked 125 by BA and 174 by MLB), has 10 K, 0 BB in 9.2 IP.
Wright hasn't had anything resembling a good knuckler going back to his last ST appearance, neither throwing it for strikes nor getting swings and misses. Here's hoping he re-finds the touch. Right now, Johnson is pretty clearly the 6th starter.

A major difference [besides walk rate] with Betts and Margot is Betts hits the ball in the air a ton, Margot hits the ball on the ground an obscene amount. His triple tonight was his 2nd flyball this year, to go with 10 groundballs, a few pop ups, and a handful of line drives. Last year it was 47% GB, 29% FB.
