Manuel Margot Watch: now 37 PAs without striking out.

I dream of the day when there are 8 full season games on the same day. Soon.

Manuel Margot Watch: now 37 PAs without striking out. This is arguably more impressive than Mookie's on base streak. Getting to that point, anyway. However, he's also walked only once.

Portland's lineup is absolutely the worst.

I guess we will have to wait until one of our starters gets hurt, but man Brian Johnson and probably Eduardo Rodriguez could quite possibly come up tomorrow and be very competitive. Brian Johnson is ready now.

Portland's lineup is absolutely the worst. When Henry Ramos isn't in the line-up, I must agree!

Brian Johnson is ready now. Its very encouraging to see Johnson move up to Triple-A and continue to have the same success he had in Double-A. I'd still love to see him get 7-10 more starts at this level, but yeah, he'd probably be my vote to jump into the rotation should a 6th starter be needed sooner.

With how Wright has struggled somewhat, I bet Johnson is the 6th starter right now. But probably only if there's a 60-day DL guy because he needs to be on the 40.

Longhi with two more hits and a Jack. Margot has a double so far with no K's.

Longhi with another HR. Guerra with a 3B. Don't know if it's an issue with the MILB site, but the boxscore lists Mesa with the HR and Monge with the 3B.

Aneury Tavares starting to catch my attention. He's off to a good start (.361) in 36 ABs with only six Ks. Strikeouts were a problem before, but so far he seems to be adjusting. Second season at Salem despite slugging 11 HRs and 50 ribbys last year, albeit with a .250 BA.

SSS, but Mario Alcantara, who fanned 44 and walked 48 last year, is 10 / 0. The scouting report indicates his stuff is plenty good enough to pitch middle relief in MLB, if he has plus command.
