Manuel Margot Watch: now up to 41 PAs without a strikeout. (.375/.381/.650)

Wright clearly hasn't lost his knuckler completely, but he's just too inconsistent right now. One moment he's throwing right at the strike zone and the next it's up near the batter's head.

46 PA, 3 BB (2 today), and 0 K for Margot.

Oh man, Swihart isn't helping here... PB on a called strike just now. Though he did make a great tag play in the 3rd.

Jacob Dahlstrand - He's off to a very good start this year. He has a nice pitcher's frame. Not great K rates, but I'm curious what others think.

Wright can still make hitters look absolutely silly with his knuckleball, just ... not all the time. Too many hangers and they're getting punished even at the AAA level.

I joined about 50 other people in New Britain to watch them play 2 yesterday.
Couldn't help but think it's gonna be a long year for the fans in Portland ... sloppy fielding, sloppy baserunning, not much talent. A few retread AAAA players Martinez and Tekotte .... Miller and Gragnani are fun to watch in the field ... looks like i'll being going to Lowell games in Norwich.
By August, we will get a few A promotions to Portland, so there's a chance for something interesting.
EDIT: The "50 other people" was a comment on the number of fans in the stands, not a reference to the number of people I know who go to Sea Dogs games in CT.

Chavis flies under the radar. Tons of XBH. I think ones the Ks come down, he's going to start putting up a monster slash line. I think he'll be a consensus top 100 guy by year's end.

JBJ continues to hit. At what point does he start getting considered for the RF Job in Boston while Castillo heals, or is still too early?

The organization took too long last year to realize this in regard to AJP, I hope that I don't have to witness many more of Victorino's ABs.

Let's not get carried away with JBJ, its not like he is lighting the world on fire. Plus, still SSS territory.
Coming into today (2015):.308/.368/.385, .360 wOBA+ 131 RC+ 2013 AAA: .275/.374/.469 .381 wOBA+ 137 RC+
Its close, but still not quite to 2013 levels (maybe after today), and he failed significantly (offensively) in the majors after that initial performance in AAA.
I am all for giving him (and/or Rusney, when healthy) a shot, but I think we still have a little time until that move is made, and Victorino will be given every chance possible to rebuild value and become more comfortable facing RHP as a RH. However, I do like the mechanical adjustments JBJ has made and still think he can be a very solid 2-3 win player for us.

That Greenville team is loaded. I can't recall the last time that this much very young talent was assembled on one team in the Sox system. Most of them are 20 or under. It is going to fun to watch them develop.
