Pedroia on pace to double his career high for errors in a season.

Feel like pedroia's been bailed out of every error he's made this year. Only fair as he's saves so many runs with his defense.

I'm happy to see Rusney has given up his habit of dropping the ball.

Ricky Nolasco and Mike Pelfrey.
Yep. Absolutely disgusting.
Heads should roll.

It's tough to watch our team make opposing pitchers look like All Stars. It just seems to keep happening and it looks like they are just salivating to hit these guys and then they dribble the ball to SS. I would like to see more guys fousing on squaring up the ball rather than trying to jerk everything out of the park . Are you listening Ramirez?
Castillo looks like a plus RF defensively to me. But can he lay off the Will Middlebrooks breaking pitch off the outside corner? He starts his swing pretty early. I love his pop and overall game but I have a feeling he is not going to hit for average. He looks like he's guessing.
As compared to someone like Betts who can wait on the ball longer and keep from swinging so much at bad pitches. Huge difference potentially in their games.

Nice outing for Buchholz so far. Let's see what the team can do in the last two innings. Pitchers figure hitters out. That's what they do for a living. It's also a fraternity - they share information. Castillo had an MO before the Sox even signed him. He's living up to that as a guy with a long swing who'll offer at a lot he shouldn't. I'm sure the fraternity has incorporated that into the Book of Rusney. That doesn't mean he won't come around, it just means he's going to have to refine his approach.

I'm pretty patient and realize the randomness inherent in baseball. However, it is incredibly frustrating to watch this team struggle to hit AAA pitchers (Which Pelfrey and Nolasco amount to at this point).

Hey look, apparently you can bring your closer in in the 8th inning. Hope John Farrell is taking notes.

I've seen at least 3 plays this year where Mookie's speed at getting to 2nd base on a ground ball has saved an out.

I'm impressed, the Twins announcers were completely on top of the Panda hitting lefty thing. Have heard plenty of announcers still talking about Nava and Victorino as switch hitters well after they gave it up.

Good job by Molitor to bring the closer in that situation.
