Bautista to Salem, presumably the activation of Beeks is the Greenville countermove. No countermove needed for Salem, as it had cleared a spot when Tavarez was promoted to Portland.

Great outing from Stankiewicz today. A nice bounce bounceback from the last time out.

Teddy Stankiewicz with a pretty nice day so far: 7IP 2H 0R 1BB 4K (10GO-4AO)
And Carlos Asuaje with a couple of HRs in Portland ...

And one of Asuaje's home runs came off Aaron Nola, who is last year's #7 pick and having a nice season for Reading.

I really think Asuaje will be a productive MLB player.

I really think Asuaje will be a productive MLB player. He struggled his first 10 games -- .176 / .300 / .265 in his first 40 PA. Since then, 139 PA, .319 / .432 / .500.

He's always had the propensity for XBHs too despite a lack of raw power. His batted ball stats have always looked pretty darn good, as are his K/BB numbers. I think he's the overachiever type. Going to be a good utility player at least in my opinion.

I really think Asuaje will be a productive MLB player. I agree. For another team, though.

Per @david11lee Moncada went through normal infield drills and BP so it seems he is just day to day no DL for him.
