Whitson and Cosart for another couple of hard tosser's to enjoy watching with a chance to possibly help the big club in the future.

Johnson may be stimulated by E-rod's big league debut.

Interesting that they pull him? What was pitch count? Was thinking the same thing , 74 total 50 strikes Low pitch count to pull him. What would be reason?

Was thinking the same thing , 74 total 50 strikes Low pitch count to pull him. What would be reason? Not sure, he'd gone at least 90 pitches his last 3 starts.

Brian MacPherson @brianmacp Source: The plan today was for Johnson -- who had thrown 90+ pitches in three straight games -- to be limited to a lower pitch count.

This entire thread is just Hatfield being all "I TOLD YOU THAT ALREADY." Haha. The DSL rosters were admittedly a soft launch. We've slowly been getting info on new signees. And I should note that the rotations and lineups are complete educated guesswork.
