Under-6-foot center fielders are the new market inefficiency. :-)

Hamilton looks like a nice pick and going in the 11th round makes it likely he's signable.

Hudson Belinsky @hudsonbelinsky 4m4 minutes ago Nicholos Hamilton to #RedSox in the 11th. He is one of the youngest players in the class. Blazing speed. New to baseball. High ceiling.

My one perdiction for today is we'll take Ashton Bardzell out of NJ. We were linked prior to the draft. Hartford committ.

He is younger than some of the July 2 signings from last year.

Sox loving the CFers....of course I'm sure they are buying into the athleticism and some of these guys are moving.

"Nicholos"? Seriously? I don't care how good he is. Bad start.

Kevin Kelleher, RHP, New Orleans. He's a Senior and by the looks of it nothing special.

Hamilton is new to baseball AND a switch-hitter? Interesting. Suggests a high degree of athleticism.

Kevin Kelleher, RHP, New Orleans. He's a Senior and by the looks of it nothing special. Potentially dominant FB/SL combo, closer upside.

DJ Neal is another kid we were linked with pre-draft. Two-sport High School athlete committed to South Carolina. Will be interesting to see where he goes and if we roll the dice.

Matt Kent is actually a decent organizational guy. Saw him pitch a few times this year in the Regionals.

Kevin Kelleher, RHP, New Orleans. He's a Senior and by the looks of it nothing special. Hasn't pitched a whole lot in college (3 years, 3 schools). But there is this, after a 13 strikeout, 5 1/3 inning performance: "He (Kelleher) has got enough stuff that he doesn't have to come over the plate. When he's 0-2 or 1-2, he's got to make his pitch. What can you say. He had 13 strikeouts, but we didn't hit the ball enough early and we made the errors and just got behind it," said Coach Ron Maestri.

I hope one of these LHP's becomes at least a left-handed specialist.
