I'm having the Blue Jays feed today and the announcers are already speculating which position player will pitch hahaha!

So I need a lesson on obstruction calls. In the 2013 World Series Middlebrooks got called for simply being in the way of the runner, and now Mookie is running the bases and he is called for it. Does the rule book say that if there is a weird play, just call it against the Sox? I didn't want to bitch after an eight-run inning, but I hear you. I don't understand how Mookie can be called out for obstruction there when there clearly was zero intent. I remember being the first to point out intent doesn't matter back in the 2013 World Series. That didn't go over well in the game day thread then, so tonight I'll say , maybe intent should matter.

Tampa lost in extra innings and Baltiore lost too, so a win here will go down nicely.

Ummmm. How come Farrell didn't have Tazawa pitch the last three innings?? He would've if they weren't in Toronto. I wish that was entirely a joke.

You would have to think Williams Jerez would be more effective than Craig Breslow at this point...something I never thought Id say

The Sox should have Breslow throw batting practice for Papi and Panda instead of pitching batting practice in real games.

How is Miley better than Johnson? Good grief call the guy up and let's play our best guys. You play to win the game...not to validate contracts. Miley has been quite good for the last month prior to this start. He isn't even the guy that would go if Johnson got the call. And Johnson isn't even the guy that would get the call.

Can anyone tell me what Craig Breslow's role on this team is? 8.1 IP in May, 6.2 IP in June, none today... you'd think he's a LOOGY. But then on the season he's faced 76 RHB and 45 LHB. It's easy to forget he is even on the team, so I am guessing Farrell has forgotten. Breslow has forgotten, too. ... he thinks he's playing for the Blue Jays now.

It baffles me why they are so stubborn with there pitching staff. Quoting Bill Parcells our pitching staff is holding the Sox hostage. I wonder why they always skip over Noe Ramierz for the bullpen promotion.
I can't believe Miley he barley made five innings. They keep Breslow because he is a lefty but he is ineffective but keep him around because he is a lefty. Makes sense. I actually like a lot of this team but how can the FO not see where the issue is?

Which of the relievers we've called up has pitched well? I consider S. Wright a starter.

Noe has a vg change-up (at least when I've seen him) but needs to spot the FB as it's not overwhelming.
