So glad John Farrell pushed Brian Johnson out the door so we could get more Joe Kelly!!!! Farrell has roster control? You are fooling yourself if you don't think John Farrell has a LARGE say in who is on the team.

Good to see Papi heating up. Logjam at DH for 2016 though if he keeps this up.

That has been our luck all year in a microcosm.

Umpires are the most pompous group of people in sports.

Sorry, there is no evidence you can give me to make me believe Joe Kelly is a major league starter. He is Allen Webster with three fewer pitches and less ball movement.

Is the suddenly hot Papi the best trade chip we have right now? Should we?

Is the suddenly hot Papi the best trade chip we have right now? Should we? It has to be considered, as difficult as it would be to accept for all parties.

Cy Kelly has been amended to Ty Kelly, because every team says thank you to Farrell for starting him.

I think the Ben apologists here can't find excuses for that Lackey trade.

I think the Ben apologists here can't find excuses for that Lackey trade. What about the non-apologists — can we find excuses (are "excuses" in this context like "reasons", just repositioned to cast aspersions on the words to follow)?

Breslow time already? I'm going to shut this one off, it can't be good for my health.

Yeah, it really looks more and more like Ben was the kid at the adult table with John Mozeliak.

Wright and Kelly should be in the bullpen, Johnson and Owens in the rotation. Wonder if they will switch those roles at some point. Probably not going to happen, but I dream.

Do intentional walks in the 5th inning (with a 1-run lead) by middle relievers tend to work out well, or not so well, in your experience?

Why on Earth would you intentionally walk .707 OPS Avisail Garcia in the 5th inning of a bullpen game?

Farrell is a disgustingly poor in game manager and I'm going to be very disappointed when he returns next season.
God I miss Tito.

Why on Earth would you intentionally walk .707 OPS Avisail Garcia in the 5th inning of a bullpen game? Farrell, that's why. Also, how is Breslow still on this team? I seriously ask myself that question every time I see him come in a game.

Present and future it makes us a better team. So it'll never happen. Kelly embarrasses himself every time he takes the mound. They need to move the poor guy to then pen before he loses his confidence completely. He could be a late inning reliever.
