So does Cuevas get called up in September so the Sox can see what they've got? I hope they don't just discard him without even giving him a look-see. Maybe he could be a pen option?

On another note, Savannah (Mets) S.A.L.: A- won the first game of a DH today, their 18th straight win.

No. There are a handful of guys ahead of him in the depth chart at minimum.
Let me ask you this: How many players of any consequence changed teams via minor league free agency?

Since so little has happened the last two nights that's interesting, this "I remember that!" tidbit:
On June 15 Alex Hassan was hitting .196 / .277 / .232 in 155 PA, and had already been in AAA with the A's (before the season), Rangers, back to the A's, and Blue Jays.
Since then, he's at .358 / .409 / .514 in 193 PA.
