GCL actually cancelled. Last week of the season, so won't make it up.
GCL will play either the Cards, Marlins or Tigers in the semis next week. Blue Jays will host the other semifinal.

Now if they simply extend the rotation, instead of skipping today starter, that will align perfectly for bumping Espinoza from starter in the last game (which doesn't mean anything) to starter in game 1 of the playoffs.

BUT... Would you rather him start Saturday and then a potential clincher in the final? It's an interesting decision.

what happens if Greenville and Asheville finish with the same record? Does Asheville win because they won the head to head series or is there a play in game?

Therefore, Espinoza only has one more start in the GCL - may as well make it the playoff game. I'm fairly certain they'll do the following: FRI Aug 28 @ Twins -- Enmanuel De Jesus SAT Aug 29 vs. Twins -- Gerson Bautista End of Regular Season SUN, Aug 30, GCL Semifinal -- Anderson Espinoza MON, Aug 31, GCL Championship, Gm. 1 -- Roniel Raudes TUE, Sept. 1, GCL Championship, Gm. 2 -- Logan Allen WED, Sept. 2, GCL Championship, Gm. 3 (if needed) -- Enmanuel De Jesus

into the 6th in New Britain. Seadogs the victim of a no-no effort.
EDIT: Musgrave, NB starter, lifted after 69 pitches through 6 innings. Reliever gives up single to Margot, first batter he faced, in the 7th.
