Is the game being played up in Dunedin or at Jet Blue?

With my general lack of focus on GCL stats and results, I had completely missed how dominant the Sox were during the regular season. 41-17! Also, this is an "only in 2015" quote from manager Tom Kotchman about Yankory Pimentel: "he's not a hard thrower. He's usually somewhere around 92-95." Ah, I'm so old I remember when throwing 92-95 *was* a hard thrower.

Oh wow, another comparison of Logan Allen to Jon Lester. How shocking.
The author of this post would like to make clear that the above is sarcasm and not meant to be taken seriously.

Pawtucket now has only one position player on the bench, a catcher.

At a minimum, I'd expect Jeff Bianchi to be activated by PawSox.
Also, Ysla has been assigned to Salem.

GCL start delayed due to rain. For obvious reasons, looks like they'll try to get it in. Dunedin has a doubleheader at 5 though, so presumably they'll be on a back field, if they weren't going to be already.

Pawtucket now has only one position player on the bench, a catcher. 1. gotta think that some of the 10 position players on the AA & AAA DL are ready to come off today. 2. opponents Lehigh and NH are eliminated, so games today & WED are meaningless. 3. Pawsox, Seadogs, & Lowell are all home, so moving guys around is easy. wouldn't be the first time a Lowell player sat on the Portland bench. I nominate Aneudis Peralta. 4. Sox need a pinch-runner vs. NYY. Weeks or Marrero. Not a deep bench for BOS.

So... one more day of rain, and Espinoza could come back for a potential game 3?

Hard throwers, like JR Richard, Nolan Ryan, Bob Veale, Frank Tannana, were an anomaly. Most guys were mid 80's back then for sure. Game really has changed.

As predicted: Tavarez, Martinez, Younginer to Pawtucket Allday, Bethea, Kaminska to Portland Coste activated from paper move, Ysla Bonita coming in as well.

An absolute treat from top to bottom offensively tonight. Everyone in Greenville has a base hit, Pawtucket scoring plenty of runs, two home runs for Guzman and more hits for a red hot Dubon, plus Lowell and Portland are winning.

Greenville is 0.5 games ahead of Asheville, with six games left. Unfortunately, Greenville has five games remaining with Savannah (the team with the 2nd best SAL record) and Asheville has five games remaining with Greensboro (the team with the worst SAL record). Both teams will be playing at home.
