A note to all:
I'm not going to tell you who to vote for and how to vote, but please take sample size into account. Not saying that you should not vote for one of the guys who had a lesser workload (frankly, I still considered Benintendi myself for a decent bit before opting to vote for someone else), but consider the factors that go into putting up a line over a full season versus putting it up over less than half of that time. I think the fact that, say, Benintendi had about 40% of the plate appearances that Travis did is relevant, although certainly not determinative.

Wow, barely any love for Devers.

Wow, barely any love for Devers. He put up almost the same numbers as Guerra and Guerra is a great defensive shortstop. And then there are the other two. I wouldn't say that Devers had a bad season. He's just up against ridiculous competition.

While I agree sample size is an issue, in a sense it works for rather than against Benintendi (at least IMHO). That many home runs with so many fewer games is eye-popping.

Or more SB. It's also easy to argue that Guerra's offense is more valuable to a team because it's easier to find offense at positions other than at SS.

a little surprised Benintendi is getting so much love here. He was great no question but he got less than 200 at bats. Less than 1/2 the number the others got.
I voted for JBJ, excellent rebound season.

One other factor to consider, or not, is how old the players is to the average of the league. Where can I obtain that info. I'd split my vote between Andrew Benintendi (the immediate adjustement and results) & Javier Guerra (whose power at a premium defensive position has already exceeded expectations and more than held his own at 20 YO in high A ball).

Damn this is hard. I went with Moncada, but a lot of factors played into it not just the hitting. He's younger, he's been out of organized ball for a while, he doesn't have the college background - though the Serie Nacional certainly counts for something - he's new to the country and the lifestyle, and he has a dazzling array of tools which include switch hitting and spectacular speed. And as good as Benintendi's initial run has been, once he got up to speed Moncada has been right there with him: .305/.414/.503 since July 1st. His season has been everything promised. I think he's had the most impressive year.
