Information about his suspension is surprisingly limited. Sounds like he got unexpectedly trapped/tricked by OTC supplements from GNC. Anything you can add to clarify? You should listen to the podcasts from time to time if you have any free time if you dont already. Dont forget to give it a like or rate on itunes or stitcher thanks. LOl. I never miss a podcast, which is likely where I heard what I did, and "weight loss" supplelent. Al hoping to learn more. Thx.

For those wishing there was more reporting, Ian's down there today, and Chaz is following on Thursday I think. Ian's already texted me some goodies involving numbers beginning with "9" followed by crooked numbers. I'm sure he'll hit Twitter at some point.
Actually, let's play a game. Can anyone guess who this text was about?

It's indeed Ysla. Can't expect people not to cheat when the answer's on the page I guess!
Can add that a source who saw a lot of Salem this year said that Ysla's slider was the best pitch he'd seen a Salem pitcher throw all year. Seems like a nice get for De Aza.

If you guys and gals are like me, you are having a panic attack without watching our teams. I'm taking in today's game at Ed Smith in Sarasota under gorgeous skies and about 85 degrees. Thought we could all use some photos and try to push away SAD for another day. The brain trust was out in droves today. 1st photo is of Jason Varitek watching Anderson Espinoza start to warm up: Here is a photo of Christian Vazquez's backside as he walks back towards the dugout (we are about 10 minutes before game time) Espinoza just starting to warm up Espinoza in the bullpen finishing up his warm-up tosses

Espinoza pitched 2 innings and gave up a walk and an infield single. 1 K and all ground outs (I think). Vazquez

Few folks.....lots of our "brain trust" Great stuff. I'm pretty jealous as I am sitting behind a desk in New York. It's not cold yet, but it's not 85 either, and no body brings their baseball mitts Unless someone would stop me, I'd be sitting in the section next to those guys trying to eavesdrop. That's be a surreal experience for me. Excuse my manners.

According to the schedule the Florida Instructional League ended on Monday. I wonder if there were any surprises or players who showed considerable improvement during the sessions. Ian and Chaz were there and filed reports on just a day or two of workouts. Any other observations or comments from others in attendance?

Ian and Chaz were there and filed reports on just a day or two of workouts. Any other observations or comments from others in attendance? Patience, young grasshopper. They got back on Sunday and have been writing them up. As the reports say in the introduction, there will be six sets of reports total. We're spreading them out over two weeks. (Also, the two Fall Instructs threads have been merged. Not sure why there were two.) Here's today's post, in fact: news.soxprospects.com/2015/10/scouting-scratch-anderson-espinoza.html
