I really like Nolan Jones, but I think he will solidify himself as top 10 by draft time.

Good to see Jackson Gillis (Wilmington, MA) on the list. I live in Wilmington and there has been a buzz around him for years.

Interesting to note; of the 100 draft prospects on Kiley's list, only one, Anthony Kay (CT), is from New England.

This class has some of the best baseball names I've ever seen. It's like a character list for Bull Durham 2.

Obviously the team should go best available, but what's everyone's preference? Personally I want a RHP.

Their #12 would be a re-draft, and he goes to Price's school.

They need to draft as many OF as possible starting with the 12th pick.

sign me up for the best Trey Ball clone I still think they should've developed Ball as an OF, but maybe pitching will click with him this year.

It will be interesting to see how Funkhouser performs this year. He could be someone of interest at #12, and as a senior with less negotiating power, I wonder if he'd sign a fair amount below slot....

Obviously you take the best talent available, but if all else is equal (and it rarely is), I would say they need 1) pitching 2) SS (Hope they can find somebody who can replace Guerra's talent) and 3) OF

They might not be 40 HR guys, but they could exceed 25 homers per year.

They might not be 40 HR guys, but they could exceed 25 homers per year. Well, and remember the current power environment. Only 55 guys hit 20 home runs last year. 19 hit 30 and just 9 hit 40. In the minors, 8 guys (not counting Japhet Amador in Mexico) hit 30 home runs and 17 hit 25 (it balloons to 50 if you cut it off at 20, with 18 of those guys at 20 or 21 for the year). www.fangraphs.com/minorleaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=y&type=0&season=2015&team=0&players=0&sort=10,d As for who in the system has power, it depends. Brentz and Ockimey have great power - question is whether they'll tap into it. Chavis has plus raw as well, which is how he led the system with 16 despite hitting .223. Franklin Guzman is a random guy who's got great power but no clue what he's doing at the plate.

Franklin Guzman would be a painful name if you are a Rangers fan. He's a Goliath who everyone thought would at least be a great DH.

They need to draft as many OF as possible starting with the 12th pick. If you need OF, the best way to get them is to take the best player available; if he's not an OF and you need one, then you trade him later for an OF.

Puk is a big boy, who can deliver some serious cheese. The lack of control could drop him down to us at #12.
However i like gowdy. He did not wow them with team USA, but I like his change up and his mound presence.

I've been reading about this Groome prospect for a minute. He is tall and a hard thrower. I wonder if he will be around at 12.
