I see Gunsolus is back with the Drive. Just saw the transactions, filter down.

Marco continues to hit well for Pawtucket. I really love his swing. Smooth, quick, and compact. He also has some pop. If he improves approach at the plate, he should be an everyday player.

If he handles the outfield well he's the next super utility guy. Always nice to have someone in that role from the farm so you don't overpay for a bench player in FA.

That bat may be better than utility-grade. That was quite a pickup by the team. He hasn't stopped hitting since he showed up in Portland. He's a contact guy and he may never have outstanding BB numbers, but it's a very nice swing and that bat plays.

PawSox won, Drive split.
Others (subjectively selected):
Light 3 batters 2 Ks 8 pitches 7 strikes ( a batter had a K but reached on a wild pitch).
Witte continues to play well, he's a solid 3B after moving over from primarily 1B in past years. His OPS at Pawtucket is .797 after posting a .997 at Portland before his promotion.
Cuevas with a reasonable outing after returning from Boston. A few too many walks though.
Hernandez OPS now .850
Travis was 1/4 which slowed down his rapid decent. Washington, Rivera with triples, j Basabe, Matheny with doubles. Poyner with another 1-2-3 save Gunsolus played both ends, one at 1B one at 3B. Rei 2/3 which brought him up to the Mendoza line. He's been slowly rising lately. From what I've seen he's a decent defensive catcher. Think athletic.
Leclerc seems to have decent multiple inning relief appearances but I haven't seen him, just a box observation.

Karma for the "significant compensation" for Theo fiasco... What a ****storm that was. Think of all the front office salary relief we got out of it.
