Some of the Ground Rules are applied loosely in here, as we understand that there is a tendency to want to react (or overreact) to every play of a Sox game with one line reactionary posts. Those posts are okay in the Red Sox Series threads to a point - we certainly appreciate the passion. Just try not to overdo it, and try to maintain some semblance of reason. Tonight's game is very interesting: 2 former Cy Young LHP winners who lost 2 mph of FB velocity and have a very good opening day performance and struggled mightly after. Let's see what happens in this series opener.

Over/under on the number of runs the Sox score in this series?
I'll say 26.5.

Gut prediction for tonight: Price looks a lot better and goes 7 strong.
Back to back bombs from Bogie and Papi get the offense cookin'

This may be a stretch, but it looked like the first few of Price's pitches didn't have that leg raise he was working on. Vazquez then visited the mound and Price visibly changed his windup to feature the raise - wonder if Vazquez noticed. Wouldn't doubt it.

That was a pretty good pitch, too. Not bad at all. Down in the zone. Sometimes you just lose the battle.

Keuchel getting that for a strike consistently will be annoying.

Can Machado just go back to 3B or completely deteriorate?

That was a pretty good pitch, too. Is it just me, or did his other two HR come on similar pitches and swings?
