Carson Smith needing TJS...big blow...was curious to see why Dr Andrews wasn't doing it. Some guy in NEW YORK is doing it. Hope he's a Mets fan & not a rabid Yankee fan.

“@ryanhannable: Farrell on @daleholleyweei says Brock Holt (concussion) ”frustrated“ with situation as symptoms still exist after working out yesterday.”

Starting to wonder if Holt's career isn't going to get cut short by concussions. Does the severity of this one and the difficulty he's having getting through the symptoms relate back to the one he had (and played 10 games after he got it) in late 2014? Hope he can be fully healthy again, for life as much as baseball.

From yesterday: 'Brock Holt has been out of the lineup for a month, but he's being re-evaluated today by concussion specialist Micky Collins. Manager John Farrell believed there was cause for optimism. "He's had three good days from the work that's been done on the field, and probably the most encouraging thing is how he feels at night," Farrell said. "That's been somewhat the gauge on how he's been responding to the work load, the intensity of it. So hopefully he's turning that long and rounded corner to get back to a rehab assignment." Holt began using a new concussion medication last week...' www.bostonherald.com/sports/red_sox/clubhouse_insider/2016/06/brock_holt_concussion_may_be_getting_closer_to_a_return
