Were you accidentally reading his Milwaukee Brewers line? B-Ref has him as +13.0 WAR for his career. And from 2013 to 2015 it was +9.5 which is about as good as a Rockies pitcher gets. Plus, our signing him out of the Mexican League allowed him to be a small part in the Schilling trade and thus the 04 championship. It surprises me every time when I realize he's THAT Jorge de la Rosa.

Why is Steve Lyons in the booth? He's just the worst

So can anyone guess what the logic is for using JBJ in the 7th hole behind Rutledge and Young? And please don't tell me because they have too many RHH in a row because that's absurd to be planning for the bullpen usage over the optimal lineup vs. the starting pitcher.

Farrell should throw JBJ a bone and at least bat him 9th so he actually maybe sees a pitch to hit tonight

I'm sure someone could point me in the right direction if it exists, but doesn't anyone know how I go about finding how a home run effects win probability by inning and also numbers on a players AB's after hitting a home run in the AB prior?

Why is Steve Lyons in the booth? He's just the worst The WORST. Why someone at NESN thinks he needs to be in the booth even with Remy there is inexplicable.

I hate replay to be honest, even when it works to our benefit.

That's the most absurd triple call I've ever seen. It was a single and an error. If it's not an error, then it's a double.
Also, was Young throwing lefty on that?

Good pitch for Rutledge to move JBJ over but missed the opportunity.

That's the most absurd triple call I've ever seen. It was a single and an error. If it's not an error, then it's a double. Also, was Young throwing lefty on that?Nope. Quoting a post from February: Where is there any evidence that they'll be flip-flopping him? When JBJ is out, why would they put Mookie in CF and Young in RF, when they could play Young in LF and Castillo in CF? Young these days is something like a -16 in CF, -4 in RF, and +3 in LF. And although we don't have enough data to know for certain, it looks like Castillo is better in CF than Mookie. Hmm. No real evidence of anything yet beyond that vs. RHP we'll likely be looking at a Castillo/Bradley/Betts alignment. But what you bring up is interesting -- I doubt that Castillo is superior to Betts in center right now, but what I do know for certain is that Chris Young should be kept strictly to left as much as possible. His range has declined, and his arm is truly awful. Mookie's arm is several magnitudes more useful. Young in center should be out of the question, and if he's in right, you can hope for average-ish range while knowing he has an arm that can't do more than toss the ball to the cutoff man. ADD -- some evidence of CY's cannon: m.mlb.com/video/v320753383/nyycws-saladino-singles-past-teixeira-to-pad-lead/m.mlb.com/video/v500960183/cwsnyy-yankees-tag-out-garcia-in-a-rundown/
