Espinoza with a decent start based on the box score: 4.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K 92 pitches, 60 for strikes 7 groundouts, 5 flyouts Got 10 groundballs, three of which were hits and one a ROE. Five FB, 1 LD. They averaged an amazing 4.8 Pitches/PA off him, which suggests a ton of foul balls. It looks like he was working on a pitch-to-contact pitch mix, with good results, as evidenced by the 62.5% GB rate.

LeClerc is starting the suspended game. McGrath is scheduled for game 2. After that, the scheduled rotation is Ball/Kent/TBA/Lakins/McGrath. The TBA is apparently Kopech's spot but they're waiting to see if he can go. So, if they stick with this, Kopech would be scheduled to go Sunday in Frederick? Yeah, in theory, they're keeping him on their previously planned schedule. We'll see if that holds up. I'm not going to change my plans to go Saturday until he makes a start.

Sunday and Friday are the only games I can go to, so I'm just gonna hope for the best with Sunday, I think ... the position player lineup isn't nearly as interesting as last time they came through town, that's for sure, so I gotta shoot for the pitching.
