Easy to say from the couch, but how do you take that pitch?

Usually not a complainer, but wow was that a bat at bat by Holt.

Holt needs to go back to the utility role.

why tf is Aaron Hill on the team if you don't use him right there Your right on. You would think 8 HR's on the year gets you a ticket

Holt needs to go back to the utility role. Thinking out loud. Holt to 3rd, Shaw trade chip? Shaw and ? Get you Hill and Reddick

Two things:
1. I had forgotten how much I despise K-Rod.
2. This ump is a despicable human being who deserves to rot in a jail cell.

Absolutely absurd.
This team loads the bases with no outs, then does nothing more than anyone in the league.

It feels like the Red Sox have been victimized by generous strike calls at critical points more this season than any year in recent memory.

Doesn't help that the plate grew 6 inches on both sides - but they absolutely should have done better than that.

Everyone knows this but the umps will go on strike when that decision is finally made. I say go for it since there's instant replay now anyway, but it's a tough situation.

Baltimore wins again. How many walk offs do they have this year.

This team just cannot finish off rallies. They're always knocking on the door in a close game but they rarely get the big hit. Then on other days, they just pile up the hits at will.
Pomeranz pitched well, but for a guy who was keeping the ball in the park he has given up 3 homers at Fenway in 9 innings.
And he's going to take the loss because beyond lack of clutch hitting, the toxic twins couldn't keep the score closer. Kelly and Buchholz weren't very awe inspiring.

What an embarrassing AB by Pedroia against an awful pitcher.

Why did JF pinch hit for Shaw? And why Brentz over Hill?

Terrible night for the offense. They missed some good pitches to hit and failed again with the bases loaded no outs.
