Every pitch thrown by Kopech in the minors . . . . . .

I've a brother in NoVA, catching that game, tomorrow...caught tickets in the first row of Section H, which is just off the 3rd base side of the RH batter's box, facing Kopech...
...caught the tix yesterday...

Over/under: 9.5 strikeouts for Kopech in his start? I'll say he has an off game and only gets nine.

And the over under on hits of 3.5, I will take the under. And the over under on XBH of 0.5, I will take the ..... oh let me think! Yes, the under. I guess my secret is out now, I think Kopech is really good.

It's as if you've never seen infield hits and bloop doubles. It looks like once he incorporated the slider, four starts ago, his stuff and deception jumped to a new level, a combination of extreme velocity and spin rate, and superb release point that even MLB pitchers can't achieve. At least, that's what his coaches seem to say, or literally do say, who have seen his pitchf/x data. We'll know more when we get our first look at his pitchf/x data, when he gets called up.

Jagger Rusconi getting his first action since July 2nd. Hey I was just about to ask about him. Was there ever word on why he missed time?

Seems clear he was hurt, given that he was moved to the GCL on what's essentially a rehab assignment. He's interesting, but has shown no ability to stay on the field in even his short time in the organization. Gotta wonder if the "dirt dog" style he plays with leaves him susceptible to injury.

Okay that's it. Put me in the same camp as deepjohn. I see the odds of Kopech pitching in the play-offs with Boston at around 20%, meaning not totally ridiculous.

Off night for Kopech. It took 7 while innings just to get 10 measly SO, ok, just kidding. I was skeptical earlier this year, thinking he was just a flame thrower, but he is pitching.

A single, 2 BB, and 10Ks through 7IP.
Wonder if he's done or not, 89 Pitches.
Kopech day is getting about as entertaining as Espinoza day was last summer.

I hope deepjohn is as right about Kopech as he was wrong about the Teheran trade.

Jayce ( Danial Nava II) Ray with 2 more hits and three RBI's tonight - hitting .384 for Salem. Oh, Salem's starting pitcher didn't do bad tonight either.

I hope deepjohn is as right about Kopech as he was wrong about the Teheran trade. FWIW (approximately zero), I was right about the part where I "absolutely guaranteed" that DDo would not trade Kopech, not for Teheran, not for Sale, not for anybody. Take that to the bank. And Coppy really did offer to trade Teheran for Moncada, Kopech and Devers. But DDo said, you crazy boy?
