Moncada makes 5. Hannigan and Marrero not inspiring, but the rest...should be quite interesting.

I have a feeling Robby Scott is either bizarrely good despite less-than-pedestrian stuff (low likelihood, but intriguing nonetheless), or he gets just downright shelled.
Joe Kelly, please put it together, finally. Please.

Hanigan but not Vazquez is strange and disappointing. Vazquez is hugely better to begin with (3.5 vs. 1.2 bWAR + Framing WAR / 120 G, 2014-16, 0.6 vs -5.1 this year), and is .333 / .391 / .460 in 69 PA since August 5. I understand that Hanigan is a pro and his rehab is up, but CV is unquestionably one of the two best catchers in the organization, and the gulf between him and Hanigan or Holaday is huge.
A second backup SS instead of a fourth actual OFer (Brentz or Castillo) is odd as well. It suggests Holt will be seeing more LF.
Scott is interesting, and will allow JF to make more pitching changes mid-inning. They'll have to DFA someone (Cuevas?) to clear a roster spot for him.

Not eligible until the end of the PawSox season, as he was sent down 8/26 and needs to spend 10 days there.

I don't think they'll bring up Vasquez until the PawSox schedule is over.
I wonder why Koji hasn't been activated yet?
Hopefully no setbacks.

I assume they are going to DFA Holaday when Vazquez comes up, but it makes sense for that to be Tuesday. Cuevas does make the most sense as the DFA for Scott. As for the namesake of the thread, I love it.

I wonder why Koji hasn't been activated yet? Hopefully no setbacks. Monday, reportedly, after two more side sessions.
