Totally worth the wait! This pitcher is so bad though, everything has been crushed for the last 3 innings, even the outs.

I was watching that live. Did a worm hole open up between 2nd and home or something?

He's so fast, he has more runs scored than ABs.

Do we see Robby Scott's first game tonight?

what was most impressive to me was the fact that he nearly stopped while rounding second and still scored pretty easily.

The term "bunt-double" may soon become part of the baseball lexicon.

Not to rehash but...
The A's announcers are pronouncing it Mon-cha-da.

Oh and to top it off, Toronto lost. Baltimore won, but they blanked the MFY so yeah just a perfect night.

All kidding aside Shaw needs to stay in the lineup for at least one more game.

Moncada definitely looks raw but you can already tell he's going to be so much fun to watch when he gets accustomed to the bigs.
also good debut for Scott!

I'm going to guess Moncada hits for Papi Edit: Well that's a bit of a letdown lol Also "trench" works Dylan Thomas' Advice to Travis Shaw

Moncada took four balls in his last AB. The umpiring has been pretty good for a while we were on a pretty long streak coming into tonight. And it ended tonight.

Glad the bats made the trip across the country. Hope they saved some runs for the rest of the series.

All kidding aside Shaw needs to stay in the lineup for at least one more game. If Moncada's presence somehow results in Shaw returning to his April form, then it was the best September 1 move the Red Sox made. Of course, I'm not show how Moncada's presence could make that happen...
