I think he shows in Spring Training that he should make the team but they send him to AAA

AAA. Best place to learn to hit breaking balls and offspeed pitches.

Can't see them sending him to AA, and between his struggles against breaking stuff and service time considerations, it's hard to imagine him doing enough between now and next April that the Red Sox would want to start him in the big leagues. 95% confident he'll be in AAA to start 2017.
Here's the better question: What's the over/under (or before/after I guess) on his eventual 2017 callup? Maybe something like June 15th?
