My strategy is simple: avoid Britton at all costs. 🤓 That means obtaining and maintaining a lead.

Anyone w/ a friendly reminder on the Spring Training/early season "potential trade" discussion and the Sox player acquisition cost that was speculating on, at that time? ("phew"...though understanding the CC event was random)

I'd honestly love if they got a shot at Britton and knocked him around a little.

3 wins is realistically the best case scenario with 2 being the most likely and 1 win being the worst case realistically, with this offense.
Tomorrow ERod vs Gausman looking like a long shot.

I totally understand that a split would be a great thing, but we got a chance to put this damn thing away, and cruise into the playoffs. We have the better baseball team and I am not going to temper my expectations. Sweep these punks.

Think you might be underestimating Gausman especially with ERod on the road...

Think you might be underestimating Gausman especially with ERod on the road... That's why they play the games. We are the best team, I expect no less.

Hanley with runners on 1st and 2nd and they're pitching to him? I'd walk him.

Hanley swung out of his shoes there, which is not the kind of approach I want to see. He's plenty strong enough to obliterate the ball if he hits it flush, and he needs to focus more on taking a nice smooth controlled swing rather than selling out for power.

Very slick defensive play by Hanley.
That's not a set of words you see strung together very often.

Trust pedey's instincts at the plate, but would have liked to see him work the count. Bundy has high pitch count after 2

If Mookie ends up losing the MVP to like Jose Altuve I'm going to flip out.

The hitters get all the glory (deservedly so) and Porcello just keeps mowin' em down.
