86 mph single for 2 runs. We've hit about 8 outs harder than that.

I would have rather walked the bases loaded and pitched to the righty there...that was a mistake JF. (unless perez is a switch)

The Indians are dictating the pace again and the Red Sox are being lethargic again. Just a matter of time until it's Miller time and before long this season will be over. It's awful how the Red Sox haven't show up.

And the sac bunt gets 2. But it's still wrong, according to some.

It's awful how the Red Sox haven't show up. The Indians get hits when they hit the ball more than 80 mph. The Red Sox don't get hits when they hit the ball more than 95 mph. This is complete bullsh*t sh*tty luck. This is why you never sell the farm to "go for it" anymore with this absurd playoff structure.

Keep pulling your stats out - and keep putting your fingers in your ears. For those of you who didn't think that the way that the team tanked late in the year would hurt them going into the playoffs, have fun - and go wild. Some of us actually think and assess what we see and observe. Pathetic - something written doesn't fit into your own little personal paradigm, and it is garbage.

This series has been about as fun as diverticulitis.

I bet you blame Buchholz for that popup single he gave up in the 1st.

That 11-game win streak in September was brutal. Totally agree.

Buchholz was decent - that should be his last batter

Clay is nasty tonight. Not getting any breaks. This is on the offense. It's how they got here. If they're going to play tomorrow they have to hit tonight.

The HP umpire changed the whole game by gifting Chisenhall that BS walk (just check gameday) so instead of 1 on; one out, we got 2 on, 0 out! Pathetic!

The Sox need to be swinging at the first strike they see. Tomlin is on fire.

Hmmm, I could be wrong, but I think they finished first, no? But you are right, that six game SSS with a few one run losses really was all that mattered all year.

The Sox need to be swinging at the first strike they see. Tomlin is on fire. He doesn't walk people so they can't be missing pitches to hit. Leon and Holt took pitches for strike 3 that were out over the plate.
