I like Longhi at 9, I'm hoping some of the doubles start turning into HR's this year.

I really am bullish on Lakins too. Sophomore draftee who was challenged at High A and had alright peripherals, particularly a very solid walk rate. Anderson is quickly becoming one of the more polarizing prospects in the system. After reading reports of a couple people down on him it's nice to see that Law has him rated relatively well. Hernandez outside of the Top 20 is the biggest surprise to me. According to BRef, Marco exceeded the rookie limits in 2016. Yep. Didn't even think of service time. He was up longer than I realized.

beni and devers makes sense at the top. Groome because of his high ceiling makes sense over Johnson. Travis may not be a super star but I think he is a major leaguer and will do a very good job on the big league roster. At this stage I think dalbec is way over rated. If he has a good year at salem I will gladly change my mind. Johnson is a trade chip along with owens. Possibly those two have a breakout year this year at AAA. Is marco on the prospects list or not? It looks to me, and I am certainly no expert, but marco could play ss at the big league level and do fine, not great. Chatham still early to tell if he stays at ss or goes to 3rd. Looks like he can hit very well. But he fits in with the dalbec situation. What kind of year does he have at Greenville? Ockimey I do not see as making it. But we have to put somebody in the top 10. Raudes is interesting. A lot like AE now in san diego. Small and light. Does not have AE's fastball. MAYBE he is pedro like but at this stage think he is more likely to get hurt and have a hard time making it thru a big league season. We were certainly spoiled over the last few years with lots of high level prospects on the farm. The key to the rebuilding of the farm will be two fold. One, do the sox have another promising draft to piggyback on 2016? Two, How the farm is managed will certainly be drastically different than theo and the gang. Will Dave continue gutting it for the benefit of the big league team or does he build it to help manage the salary cap issues.? Certainly a way different view of the this site's expectations than in past year's. Not necessarily bad but different.

Marco's eligibility depends on the person/site doing the rankings. Some go straight AB/IP. Others use service time.
