I wonder if Pomeranz is coming back out for the 5th. Up to 94 pitches I think? I imagine he has to come out for the fifth even with the pitch count. They need innings at this point.

Cobb just doesn't have much out there. Not the same guy post Tommy John surgery. He has been getting smoked all game. He's the one who hasn't been fooling anyone this game imo. Good job Pablo.

Pablo leads the team in homers and RBIs... for what that's worth.

Has he abandoned the cutter? Is this an injury avoidance thing? Or what? He looks like a two-pitch pitcher to me. Great combo of two pitch stuff, but not a lot of leeway or ways to keep 'em guessing. You talking about Pomeranz or Cobb? Cobb looks like a two pitch pitcher too. He has completely forgot how to throw his use to be nasty change up it looks like. Alex Cobb has lost "the thing" thanks god bc that split thing was nasty

Huge homer to tie it last inning, so naturally Pomeranz gives up a bomb immediately.

Not sure Kelly is a fireman though - more likely an arsonist

Cobb is still getting lit up.

You have got to be kidding me. Xander hit it hard right at the second baseman. The Sox should have at least 6 runs already against Cobb.

Kelly vs. Miller is a bad matchup

Xander didn't hit it hard, EV was 80mph

Xander didn't hit it hard, EV was 80mph Might have been fooled a bit on that. Usually a ball up the middle goes for a base hit. The Sox should have got to Cobb more today and it might cost them. At least Kelly is showing something against a weak lineup.

Kelly 2.2 innings on 28 pitches. They should make a starter out of him

Benintendi should have been running on that 3-2 count to Mookie...he would of been on third.

Do you bring in Selsky to face the lefty with a hot Mitch Moreland to the plate?
