If Michael Chavis can maintain his 397 wRC+ he might make it to the majors half as fast as Mookie.

Ready for random facts?
There are 16 pitchers in our top 40 who have pitched 5 innings or more this year. 13 of the 16 have more strikeouts than innings pitched. Our guys seem to be missing bats at least early on in this season.

Our guys seem to be missing bats at least early on in this season. I was intrigued, so I looked at last year. 17 pitchers in the top 40 threw at least 5 IP in April. 7 of them had more K's than IP. 3. Espinoza 22.0 IP/24 K

17. Jerez: 14.2 IP/9 K 19. Ysla: 8.2 IP/9 K
20. Pimentel: 11.1 IP/8 K 21. Martin: 10.0 IP/11 K
26. Stankiewicz: 24.0 IP/18 K 27. Glorius: 12.2 IP/14 K
29. Beeks: 20.0 IP/17 K 30. Shepherd: 13.0 IP/17 K
31. Diaz: 12.0 IP/9 K 33. Raudes: 17.0 IP/13 K 35. Brakeman: 10.2 IP/9 K 36. Buttrey: 17.0 IP/12 K 38. Escobar: 7.0 IP/ 2 K
