Happy to hear about Callahan. Hopefully he can limit the walks this year, because it would be nice to have a reliever with 3 useable pitches including a fastball that misses bats.
Buttrey is another guy I'd be happy to see make it as a reliever even if his career asa starter hasn't gone as well as some expected.

Jamie Callahan throws not changeup but split-fingered fastball at 85-87 mph.

The lines between a changeup and a split (or between a cutter and a slider, a slider and a curveball, etc.) can be blurry. I believe Callahan self-describes that pitch as a changeup, so that's the nomenclature that SoxProspects has been using (this came up on the last podcast). But yeah, it's that same pitch.
