Longhi with a HR over the Maine Monster. It's either foggy or they need to clean the camera lens. Dogs up 2-0.

On the day of the nationwide science marches, Darwinzon throws five no-hit innings.
Allen Craig singled today to prop his SLG up to .237. Meanwhile Aneury Tavarez went 3 for 4 with a double and two walks in the doubleheader and is up to .381/.460/.500 as the most absurdly overqualified Portland Sea Dog we've seen in quite awhile.

Yes but for the season, Dar wins one.

Did Ian stay for the second game at Portland for I'd be interested in his evaluation of Grover, Cosart, Jerez and Buttrey? Even with the poor conditions, all did pretty well. Grover topped out at 95 and kept them off balance with his curve. Cosart 91-93 once again had command issues and received no help. Jerez 90-94, looked better and Buttrey 94-98 T99 via reports from a person watching the gun.
Aneury Tavarez - would like a perspective on this guy. He seems to be under the radar within the organization? Can't understand this, strong arm, great speed, seems to love to play and continues to hit and make things happen. Why is he still in AA? Its not like AAA can't use some bats?
