4/7-5/7: 22 G, 81 PA, 24/70, 4 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR, 9 BB, 15 K, .343/.425/.557, .404 BABIP 5/8-5/19: Injured/DL 5/19-6/7: 13 G, 42 PA, 7/37, 0 XBH, 5 BB, 5 K, .189/.286/.189, .219 BABIP Today: 3/4, 2 2B, 1 HR, 2 BB, 1 K. (and of course, .750/.833/2.000, 1.000 BABIP) Hopefully something clicked? Strange game - Portland was up 5-3 entering the 8th, Akron scored 5 to go up 8-5, then Portland stormed back with a nine-run bottom of the inning for the 14-5 win.

Listened to the last couple of innings on the radio and they said the wind was blowing out in all directions. A few of the late doubles were off the wall and it seemed like every batter was getting the ball deep.

Chavis hits another bomb. 444 ft in Winston Salem. Announcer says it is longest he has ever seen. Says Chavis is a Monster.

Devers has another multiple-hit game and Chavis hits his 15th. Looks like a good time to promote and see what they can do at another level.

Jhonathan Diaz ran into trouble in the 6th (gave up 3 hits without an out before being lifted), but before that went 5 innings, 2H, 1ER, 0BB, 8K. Threw a ton of strikes overall: 53 of his 71 pitches.

Just saw the box scores from last night. Lin must be some kind of weird monster, with 3 more XBHs. The wind likely had something to do with it, but he's still got to get the ball in the air. Very different profile for him this year. Something happened.
