Never been more confident in my life that a double play ball was coming. Hanley and Sandoval b2b, good thing we paid them.

Pablo does not have the range for a easy infield out and then yanks a bad throw to first base.

Mitch Moreland should have caught that, but I think he was surprised how crappy the throw was from the third baseman who shall not be named.

Can we just hire Cherrington again and fire him live on NESN?

Never been more confident in my life that a double play ball was coming. Hanley and Sandoval b2b, good thing we paid them. Over 42 million a year going to those wash-ups. Nelson Cruz was a free agent the same year as Hanley. He hit 40+ home runs both years in Seattle. How many home runs would he hit at Fenway? I guess we'll never know. BTW, he is making 14 million a year. Sandoval is not even producing replacement level numbers. I dont see why he hasn't been released yet.

Move the ball girl to play 3B. She flashes leather better than the guy playing there now.

Pablo cannot play 3B anymore with this showing. 59 million reasons while he probably will. Sadly.

Worse move....signing Sandoval or trading Shaw? i vote for signing Sandoval. That's a tough one. I was about to say Sandoval was worse because Shaw will probably come back down to earth, as he had a hot start last year and then cooled off. But no... His numbers and peripherals have actually improved. I really wish he was here still. What confuses me is that Shaw is gone but Swihart is here and in AAA, lowering in trade value by the day. There was depth at Catcher but not 3rd base. And I can't even remember the guy the Sox got in return for Shaw, but let's just call him Carson Smith II. All things considered, the Sandoval signing was just downright horrible. Release him. Dombrowski has made equally terrible decisions as Cherington. Lester and Miller could still be in Red Sox uniforms if the front office was smarter with their money. Both could have been re-signed at the end of the season in which they were traded. As for David price, I'll respect him when he wins a game in October. Sorry for the complaining, haven't posted in a while. At least Devers is still here

I'm too lazy to look up the stats, but it feels like Iggy hits the Red Sox way out of proportion to what his slash line would tell you. I know it's poor form to quote yourself. But, just sayin

I thought the same to be honest, but it turns out the numbers don't really show it: Jose Iglesias career vs. the Red Sox before today: .217/.230/.417 Maybe it just feels like it because he had only 13 hits against them, 6 of them being doubles and 2 being HRs.

What a horrible at bat by Hanley. You got to put the ball in the air in that at bat.

Lead off double stranded at third. Bummer.
Will Kelly throw >102 mph?

Really. I feel the vets are letting this team down. Price, Hanley, the 3B formerly known as Sandoval. It's a long way from Ortizville, that's for sure.

Its actually pretty remarkable how Hanley seems to have escaped main stream criticism from the media this year. Think it has a lot to do with Moreland's success.

I'm prepared to start having confidence in Joe Kelly. That was a nice inning mixing in off speed with the fastball. He's been mostly good all year.

The NESN sidebar would be much more useful if it blocked Ramirez and Sandoval from our view.
