Praying for Maddox. That kid isn't ready for the majors.

Brian Johnson to the 10 day, Elias to the 60 and Maddox called up. I forgot that we still had Elias. Nice to see Maddox get a look Pretty clear that he got the shot over Workman and Martin because he's capable of going 3 IP at a shot, something he's done twice in his last 5 outings. Not sure that's a good reason, though. He's been surviving on BABIP (with a worsening of xFIP) since his promotion last year to Portland, and it's rare that that nibbling trick works in MLB.

I've been so distracted by the draft that I had no idea the Orioles were now a .500 club, a half game out of the division cellar.

Fully expect his production to crater until he finally gets put on the DL with a 720 OPS. In the article it says there isn't much you can do for it. How about not facing 95mph fastballs with a fractured toe? How about resting it instead?

Good send. The 2nd person in the order was up so we basically had no chance of scoring a run without giving them an out.

Another day another base running out. Someone needs to tell Butterfield and Farrell that even though the offense has been disappointing, being this aggressive and careless on the bases is only exacerbating our problems scoring runs. We've been fortunate enough to win a few games despite some terrible baserunning, but it will definitely catch up to us at this rate.

Farrell what are you honestly doing by having Mookie bunt at the first pitch?

Anyone else petrified when Sale sprinted to second and slid? I saw our entire season flash before my eyes. Good for me, but I lost about three years in my life there.

Poor Sale lol
Very winnable game still. Philly has just begged to lose this series.

Mookie never has bad ABs, can't say the same to the rest of them.

Sandoval with a brutal relay. Please get rid of him. He doesn't do anything well on the field.

No time like the present: but RS haven't had a 8-9in comeback this season.
