I see Josh Ockimey just committed his 10th error and we aren't at the half-way point. I know his profile as a defensive player is a "work in progress", but that is worrisome for a 1st basemen.
Equally concerning is his SO rate, now running over 30% per ABs. Continuing problem from last season at Greenville.
Pretty sure K rate is based on PA's and with Ock's BB rate, his K rate per PA's is much lower than his K-rate per AB's. So his K rate is 24%. That may not be great, but it's much better than 30%. And it's a slight improvement over last year's 26%.
Still an area he needs some work on. I think it's more palatable for someone with his walk rate, though.
