Apparently we can have Don Orsillo and we can have nice uniforms, but we cannot have them at the same time.

Stinker ball. Got to limit the damage if possible...

Oh well - Devers has another HR tonight. Brentz still on fire as well. Pitching getting pretty generally beat up in the minors.

Seriously, this is 2015 all over again with Porcello. Pretty much exactly. Which is really bad news.

When is only 3 runs somewhat good news? Tonight. That could have been a hell of a lot worse.

he's lucky those weren't crushed. He has nothing this inning. He has nothing this season. He's been far and away the worst pitcher on the staff. Only saving grace for him so far is the fact that Pomeranz literally can't go more than 5 innings 90% of the time.

We gotta hope he rights the ship.

It's almost as if Rick Porcello is going to keep the Red Sox out of 1st place single-handedly. If only we could have 2016 Porcello and 2016 Price (a 2016 Hanley would be nice, too) to go with 2017 Sale and 2017 Kimbrel. Wouldn't mind somebody being a 2016 Ortiz;)
Seriously, it's too bad the Sox starting pitching depth is so thin that they can't give Porcello a 10 day DL to work on his mechanics or something. He needs a serious breather.

Why did they get so anxious? Threw more than 20 p in first inning, should have worked it to get him over 40 - but early swinging in the count. Baffling.
