I like it. If anyone in the system should be mononymous it would be Dedgar.

I wish I could say that was intentional. Too many distractions here this morning.

There's no going back. He's just Dedgar now.

I wish I could say I understand anything in this thread so far.

Edilson has an A+ name, I agree. But the thing with Dedgar is that just by saying Dedgar you immediately see Dedgar.
As far as Iago is concerned, going mononymous there would have deprived us of the delightful "Januario." Iago Januario was easily the best buddy cop action flick sidekick the organization has ever had. Iago Januario is delivering punchy one-liners alongside Jordon Austin, who plays by his own rules and takes nothing from nobody.

Why would Januario be the punchy one there, though?

Jordan Wren gets his first start in Lowell tonight. Minor league debuts for Garrett Benge and Frankie Rios. Benge is a guy to keep an eye on for me.
Unrelated, but is there a reason that Roldani Baldwin isn't playing more often? He's one of the more interesting prospects in the low minors to me. Is it a development/health thing due to him being a catcher?

Chavis just cleared the left field wall in his first AA at bat. Absolutely moon shot over everything.

I may be moving into irrational exuberance territory w/ Chavis. Gunna need a talk-down.

Lin just went deep, 416 feet per the broadcast. 6 for his last 7.
De La Guerra gets his first hit and rbi in AA, drives in Devers on a sharp single to right.

Be interesting to see how they handle the 3b rotation in Portland. Do Chavis and Devers rotate back and forth from 3b to dh, or does Chavis start getting some OF reps? Seems like it would be tough to promote a guy and start him at a new position. 3b will be tight at Pawtucket too with the signing of Peralta.

Owens with 8 BBs through 4 IP lol My god. Lol. Herny seems like a nontender candidate in a year or two. He's declining in his mid 20's.

They'll keep him as long as he has options and then clears waivers just in case he ever figures it out. Kinda like Brentz.

Lin with a triple off the right field wall and awarded home plate on the throwing error to third. Kinda like an inside the park home run right? Second straight night with a triple for Tzu-Wei.
