That was some serious humble pie given to the Sox yesterday. Like what in the world kind of effort was that?
Kelly was awful. Porcello was awful. Boyer was awful. The whole infield was awful. Nunez got hurt because of the bad play.

If Nunez has to go to the DL, we are really down on bats with Pedey and JBJ out as well. Then again, if our starters keep getting whacked, doesn't matter much...we are only a few days from Sept call ups/roster expansion, which will help. If Marrero is the call up, not a whole lotta help with the stick.
Let's see what happens today...

Ok - the past is past...on to victory tonight. ERod pitches well against his old team. They are at Fenway. We are 4.5 games up - ready for baseball.

Good to know that the Sox are 3.5 ahead even before the third inning again.

Forgot the time - just tuned in. ERod appears to need to join the list of Sox that are currently broken. Wow. WTF is going on with our pitching staff?
Are they all tipping their pitches now?

After that 15-3 stretch the Red Sox are now getting their faces kicked in - and to Buck Showalter's Orioles at home no less.
At least they're making it easy to tune out instead of being strung along.

This sh*t is way out of line. I blame, in no particular order, Salty, Don Caballero, new uniforms, John Farrell.

Well, the Sox have returned to being good medicine for opposing slumping offenses and ineffective pitchers. There's that.

I think I'll be back next week when I start watching again. This is an epic meltdown with a lot more going on than just being in a slump.
I bet giving up 39 runs in 19 innings is close to an all-time record for the team.
Even the god d*mn uniforms and nicknames that make it so I have no idea who anyone is on the other team piss me the hell off.

Hanley. At this point, you have to think the the O's own us. Might as well tip our cap and call them our douchies. Come on boys, wake up.

Mookie Betts since the all-star break: .636 OPS, 63 wRC+, .083 ISO. All year splits to opposite field: .022 ISO, -42 wRC+. That's the really confusing thing. He looks like he's never seen a pitch on the outer half of the plate before. So strange.
