They should be hammering him. He's just rolling his breaking ball up there.

perhaps Brian Johnson is not a #3 starter He’s a borderline #5 whose had some good luck. Don't let the facts sway your opinion.

Worth it to see Sabathia butcher the next play.

Lotta buzzard luck tonight. This game should be tied at least.

6 LOBs in 3 innings. So sick of these guys kicking our ass.

I am pretty stoked about Swihart. That is a tough luck non-hit.

Worth it to see Sabathia butcher the next play. Two more LOB. This is going to come back to bite us. For most of this season the Sox have been operating at something reasonably close to max efficiency. Maybe we're starting to see a little bit of regression here -- they've had a few games recently with LOB issues.

How have we only scored 2 runs against this guy?
Just like the Phillies series. The offense is struggling

This ump is incredibly inconsistent for both teams.

This ump is incredibly inconsistent for both teams. As you were saying(that 3-2 to Stanton was inside)

Get this guy out of the game.... You can't do that. The pen can't manage the innings. You have to try to milk outs out of the starters, because the innings eaters aren't there to protect the pen.

I thought Brian Johnson was a plus command guy. I think he was down 2-0 three times that inning. Looks like getting his bell rung in the 1st, tightened him up.

This ump is incredibly inconsistent for both teams. I’ll take it but that strike three call was atrocious.

The more I see Swihart catch the more I think he's better than Vazquez, or at the very least just as good. I think he even does a better job of framing pitches. The way he tries to bring borderline pitches into the strike zone is much quicker and more subtle than when Vazquez does it.

Get this guy out of the game.... Their down 4-2 in the bottom of the 4th. Cora is a smart baseball guy, he isn't going to overreact.
